Big Jules Xavier is the charismatic and ambitious leader serving New Roma, a dystopia rocked by years of civil war and apocalyptic strife. A popular leader, Jules is set on seizing ultimate power to restore New Roma to its former glory. But some among his ranks are skeptical of his methods and the implications of unchecked power.

Jules must navigate an obsession with succession, love, loyalty, and his tenuous control over the chief of police. 

His allies include a mad scientist, who aims to keep Jules alive no matter what, a conflicted second-hand man, and Jules’ misfit son.  

Brewing dissent is accentuated by clairvoyant visions and songs that warn Jules of the dangers he’s charging into.

What are the costs of absolute power? And can some balls be stopped once they start rolling?
