Waffle Palace is an outrageous comedy with successful, sold-out runs at The Horizon Theatre, in Atlanta! TWP is based on true stories from the famed 24/7/365 diner chain, Waffle House. After Waffle House’s CEO and executives saw the show, they became a major sponsor.

The play takes place during a series of night shifts at a familiar waffle emporium in the South. A developer has announced plans to buy the diner, as well as the businesses around it, but the owner, Jon Pickett, refuses to sell, forcing the developer into more desperate measures. Meanwhile, life goes on at the WP, often hilariously. The older garbage man/ philosophy professor, Hugo, romances the naïve waitress, Esperanza; regulars, Bubba and Tooty discover the corpse of a legendary creature. It’s all interspersed with testimonials, a song or two, and audience participation. A SRO hit at the Horizon Theatre in Atlanta, who commissioned the play.
